Have you tried using soda crystals in a 95 degree wash?

Oh no, that's one I haven't tried.  We usually run it empty with bleach or empty with white vinegar.  We also use an old t-shirt to get all the crud out of the rubber seal after every wash or so, and always leave it open to air out.  I think I'm going to have to try these soda crystals though, thanks!  :)

I had to skip breakfast this morning because of some blood work I needed to have done. Now my body is all out of sorts. I have a headache (my cup of coffee came too late) and even though I just had lunch I'm still hungry.

I'm rapidly becoming the 'annoying' mother at my son's school. So I guess I'm *their* IA. But all the communication (emails, notes, etc) I have to keep sending the school is what's my IA. It's just so time consuming. It seems like their should be a better way, but there isn't. :P
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Annoyed by silence of some and too much contact from others. Why can't it be the other way around?  ::)

I cooked chicken tenders the other night and left three bits in the pan on the stove in case DS wanted seconds.  He went out to the kitchen and came back to ask how many pieces were in the pan.  Evidently dear Maxwell had hopped up and helped himself to one of them!  Dratted cat!  (Threw out the other two pieces in case he had dribbled on them)  >:(

Was supposed to go shopping tonight with a friend, and she canceled. For the 3rd time in a row. ::) each time was a completely valid reason, but I'm still irritated. Why am I always drawn to flakey people?

Kitchen just flooded thanks to doing laundry. Why can't plumbing just work?

Also, fireworks are being set off about every night and they scare my dog. :(

Blimey they are starting early this year, aren't they.  There were some kids on the corner asking for 'pennies for the Guy' which I thought was rather cheeky on the 19th of October.

My IA is that it's the 22nd of October and I haven't seen a decent scary movie yet this year.  Where's Freddy when you need him?

My cousin deleted her facebook account. There are numerous possiblities-namely that uni's getting on top of her. I just miss the kid. :/

My dog is now trying to climb into my lap to get reassurance that the big scary fireworks won't kill him.

He's 60+ lbs, so this isn't working so well. ;) Poor boy.

(And now my cat's jealous and wants some laptime/loving, too.)

Why is it that on my final day at my old job I don't leave an hour and half late, then get to the bus stop all excited that I can take the express bus only to have it show up nearly a half hour late?!   >:(  Not to mention, I was meeting DH in town for some supper because I was late, but because of the bus I was even later than I should have been.  UGH!

I finally decided to install a legit copy of windows 7. Technically I was/am using a legit copy, but a beta...long story. Anyway, the product key I have isn't working. Meanwhile, according to the research I've done, I'll either have to go back to Vista in order to do an upgrade, or completely format and than install windows 7. Problem is that my Vista disc is back in America and the cost of backing up ALL of my media files alone is going to be more than the cost of the software I'm trying to install. It's what I get for trying to be legit.  ::) ::) ::) ::)
