Hope the Chinese helped (it always does for me) and that you're if not feeling less sick at least less sad & exhaustion has been vanquished (at least for now). Hugs.

I have to phone the hospital tomorrow to try to get yet another emergency appointment this week while I'm off work. Sigh. Yes, ladies (and gents, what few of you there are!), it looks like I will be scheduling a surgery and that really bites considering I just started my new job and desperately don't want to take time off.  :-\\\\ :\\\'( Plus 3 - 4 weeks of daily clinic appointments to change packing and dressings, etc. doesn't sound like much fun.  :-[ I'm sure my new employers will be understanding, but it sucks to have to deal with this just as I'm getting started there.  >:(

More fireworks freaking out my poor dog. :( (Who, I admit, is pretty wimpy, but the only thing that really gets him riled is fireworks.)

He's trying to crawl into my lap and, failing that, is quivering and whining and barking.

Can it be November 6 already?
