The company that I interviewed with months ago who liked me apparently doesn't like me enough to interview me now. :( They want to see someone else and then maybe interview me. Fingers crossed, I guess.

Sigh. So late for work. Because the chain on my bicycle decided to derail 1/2 way through my commute. So I had to walk the bike home and then come back. Uggh.

our neighbours!!!

To give you an idea of the set up, our house is directly behind our neighbours house, and  their house is directly beside our drive way. They are the most nosiest neighbours we've ever had to deal with. Everytime, we pull up in the drive way or pull out the drive way, they are opening their door looking out. If we are doing something with the car, he opens his door and stands there watching us. When I walk the dogs down the street he is standing outside his front door. When we are in our garden, we can see him peering out his upstairs window, and when he sees us catching him looking,he quickly ducks down.
Our bedroom window is directly opposite his upstairs window and we are soo tempted to put up a sign in our window for him to see.

my partner is at boiling point with it. We cant do anything at all without him watching us
I was totally thinking about you this morning when I woke up <weird right?> Well we did have a nosey neighbor back in ATX and I am pretty sure when ever they went out on the balcony next to us (EVER TIME) or they just peered out.  My EX would say "Can I help you?" or "did you need something?" the answer was always no but eventually they stopped peering over our balcony.  Or even better when they are at the door - WAVE! haha

My landlord's boyfriend stopped by the flat this morning to check on the issue with the kitchen sink draining...Later, my landlord texted me and said we "need to have a chat" (me: instant panic). I said we can chat anytime, but she hasn't called and isn't answering her mobile...not helping me with the panic thing. (Not that I even know what there is to panic about, which just increases the nervousness!)

I appear to be coming down with something. I was so drained last night that I went to bed at 830, woke up for an hour to do my injection, and went back to bed until nearly 9am.  :o  That's so unlike me. And I'm still tired with a weird headcoldy feeling with no other symptoms, except feeling kinda floaty...

I've been told to dial this repeat prescription line to get a refill on my medication after 10am. So I kept ringing and couldn't get through, then I finally get through and the stupid recording says you can only call between 10 and 12 or 2 and 4. Very convenient.  ::)

Toothache since Thursday and the soonest dentist appointment is Thursday next week.  :(  And that's only for her to take a look at it, not do anything about it.  I'm worried all this ibuprofen will harm my stomach, but it's the only thing that will take the edge off of the hurting.  :(  I'm only taking one dose of two tabs per day, so far.  :-\\\\

Sorry about your toothache Andee. No fun! But I wouldn't worry about the ibuprofin. I take more than that regularly!

Hope you feel better soon! Like PL, I sometimes live off ibuprofen, so unless you're really sensitive to it, I wouldn't worry about it.

Ouch Andee! Was that an emergency appointment?  If it gets worse, you can always call for an emergency appointment.
If you are worried about the ibuprofen, make sure you take it with food.  I take regular doses of naproxen (1000 mg a day- depending on the pain) and I always make sure I have something coating my stomach first before taking.

Thanks you guys.  I read online (a dental nurse said it) that if you take ibuprofen, you can then take paracetamol two hours later, then ibuprofen two hours after that, then two hours later paracetamol, etc.

I'm calling back again today after 2pm (they close for lunch between 1 and 2) and going to say it's gotten worse, plus ask to see the other dentist in the practice (there are 2) if an appointment with him would be sooner.

It's not quite an emergency, but afraid it could develop into one while I'm waiting for a week and a half.  :(

Yes you can.  Make sure you don't exceed the recommended dosage for either medication.

Feel better though- toothaches are no fun.

Yes, and things always get worse over a weekend when they're not open  :(  Hope it settles down, Andee.
