Aww CB, I'm sorry!  Really that's Worse than an IA.  :(
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

Oh no!  Do you know why?

I'm still iffy about the details, but I believe that he and his fiance fell under financial restrain and probably overworked the 20 hour per week allocation for students. I honestly would much rather have had them borrow the money from me and slowly pay it back then have them deported  :\\\'(

I'm gutted. I know they broke the law but I know if he didn't have to overwork, he wouldn't have. He was on academic scholarship and he was the one who was lecturing me during exams earlier this year. What's going to happen to their home, their schoolwork, their two dogs...? When people inevitably ask me what happened to him I don't know if I should simply say that he left or that he was deported  :-[ :\\\'(

This is weird. I assume she is putting on makeup or something similar?  Or is she just strange.   ;D

Do you have a guard on your train?  I would probably mention that she spends every morning in there.  I am sure that is against some health and safety rule!

My train is so busy every morning that no one is able to squeeze on to try to check tickets. They only do ticket checks at stations. So she's definitely not a fare dodger. It's just selfish of someone to hog the loo for the entire journey, no matter how packed the train is (and it usually isn't to the point that there's no room at all). No one needs to be in there that long every commute. As for breaking health and safety rules... I think that pretty much sums up my train line in general!

CB, I'm so sorry to hear about everything. I do hope you find a new job you love just as much, if not even more.  [smiley=hug.gif]

The e string on my guitar broke the other day. Today I got around to changing the string and the new one snapped while I was tuning it. The really annoying part, I have three packs of guitar strings in the house and it was the last of the e strings between all the packs. Gripe, gripe, gripe.

Last one left, turn out the lights.

It's all supposed to be a big secret and we're not supposed to tell anyone, which means I can't even get to say goodbye.

WHAT?!!!!!!!  :o I never saw this. OMG... I'm so, so sorry CB.  :\\\'( I know you loved that job. But having just gone through this situation myself, I can say that things really do work out, and you will be back in work in no time with all of the experience you have gained there. (((HUGS)))

Gosh, my IA now sounds so minor by comparison, but the Tesco guy was supposed to deliver my Thanksgiving groceries between 5 and 7 today and it's now 8:45!  >:( I rang and they said he was running late... but sheesh!  :o

Why, Sarah? :( What's up?

Can't sleep...want my job back.
*hugs*

Mine is just that I'm moving VERY slowly today. Had such a bad day physically yesterday that I actually cried on the way home - I was in so much pain.

My school is doing Oliver for their Christmas production, and I'm expected to play piano for the whole thing, which means for the past several weeks, I play piano for 6 hrs+ every day. And I'm a bad pianist, so during my lunch and prep time as well, to practice. The movement is bigger than I'm used to (I rarely play piano, usually guitar), and it's physically draining, especially with my particular condition.  :-\\\\
Finally living with my Husband in London after 6 1/2 years together but apart... and loving my life!

Makes me wish I lived closer I'd volunteer to play in your spot...classically trained for 14 years and I so miss playing.

I find that the best remedy for that is coffee. Or a nap. :)  .

My IA: we've been making a lot of plans based around me being able to naturalize next year. I am really stressing about this whole immigration initiative thing.
