No like winter & snow.  :\\\'(
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

No precip here yet, but got a rude awakening with the cold today. Brrrrr. :(

Off to check out Old Navy's fleece sale...
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I missed out on an art exhibition opening due to a rather bad sinus infection last week. The friend who invited me just posted a picture of David Walliams at the event, and my friend is in the background. Damn sinuses! That could have been me! >:(
I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, 'If this isn't nice, I don't know what is.' Kurt Vonnegut

Absolutely!!! Admittedly I am very rusty (I've not played in over 5 years <gasp>)and would take a few days to get back up to speed though so I probably woudln't be ready in time.   ;)

Some car I don't recognize has been parked in front of my little parking spot/driveway blocking my car since yesterday. (as well as our neighbor's since we share a driveway and we went over to her place to see if she knew whose car it is and she doesn't) We went out tonight in the Husband's car and left a note on the under the car's wiper to kindly move the car because my car is blocked. The owner crumpled up the note, threw it on the sidewalk and left his or her car parked as is. I picked up the note and put it back under the wiper. Tomorrow we call the police if this isn't resolved.

Urgh, that car owner is SUPER LUCKY that the drive way is yours, Cuppycake and not mine. I would have rammed their car out of the way with mine called the police if I didn't notice that they moved their car within ten minutes.

My IA: Very grumpy from this bad bad bad week. First it was decided without my input that we're moving out after the end of term next month. I found out yesterday that my friend is being deported. For the last three weeks I have not been able to sleep more than five hours each night which leads to three weeks worth of mind-numbing headaches. Today was a relatively low productive day at the British library because of headaches and exhaustion. Today I also fell on the bus stairs while trying to get down. I was standing waiting for the bus to full halt but then it suddenly braked full force and threw me on my back though I was holding onto the bar. Now I've got a bruise on my arm and leg. Today I also found out that my ereader has a broken blotch in the corner of the probably from getting shoved around in my bag. It doesn't detract too bad from my comic book reading, but it tends to hide at least one word at the top of the screen for my ebooks. Could have been worse, but I just got that ereader :( Just now while in the shower, shaving my legs, I managed to cut my hand three times  >:(

When will this week be over?!?!  :\\\'( Hopefully the fairly big thanksgiving dinner that I'm cooking tomorrow will go without a hitch... ::)
