Lasik scares the snot out of me. You are brave brave people! 

Er, me too. I'm squeamish and nearly faint even just reading about the actual procedure. My delays in doing it are absolutely psychological. Mind over matter.....mind over matter.....mind over matter..... I'd be an excellent candidate for it (-8.5 and -7.5 lenses) and would just *love* to be free of the hassle of lenses (I never wear my coke bottle glasses in public). Once I can read through the entire thing without feeling nauseous, I think I'll be ready to go for a consultation somewhere.

Thanks for all of the great tips of places to order contacts from!  I brought a big supply with me from the States, but will need to restock at some point.
