Mmm...yep, I love beans on toast too!  :)  Haven't tried it with American baked beans but the ones here are gorgeous!  I love making a toast, laying on just a few slices of wafer thin ham and then beans on top.  My goodness that's some good eatin'!

I've also been introduced to hoops on toast which is also lovely.  :)

I'm with you kcg....nothin' better sometimes!

Maybe I'm alone in this one.. but I can't get used to beans on toast.  It just doesn't have much flavor and is always soggy.  It's not terrible, but I'd certainly never choose to have it.

Sort of like a fry-up.  I can nearly tolerate it, but definitely prefer scrambled eggs with salsa and toast with honey.  Not greasy fried eggs, fried bread, tomatoes, mushrooms, baps...  Bleechhh..  [smiley=sick.gif]

Aww my hubby cant do without his all day breakfast.I dont mind it too much.but dont really like fried bread either.I will not eat the bubbles and squeak!(spelling??) :o

Fried bread - LOVE it.  I usually use the bacon grease to fry it in...yum yum yum!

Love bubble & squeak, too.  Only way to get cabbage into the kids!  Mix anything with potato and they'll eat it!

When doing the beans on toast in the States, I found vegetarian baked beans were closest in taste because they were pretty much the same thing, beans in tomato sauce w/out any kind of meat flavouring to them.  And you definitely don't butter the toast!

Have you tried baked bean pizza?
