Babys first laugh/giggle

Courtney hasn't done that yet and I am getting soooooooo impatient, I can't wait until I hear it for the first time!!
Her GP said it doesn't happen until 6 months but I hear others say it happens a lot earlier then that. When did your baby first laugh/giggle?

Aillidh was 5 months.  She's always been a 'cheeser', though, smiling genuinely quite early.  She has the sweetest little chuckle!  Still has.  LOVE to stir her up into peals of laughter.  Nothing more adorable than a little girl's laugh.

I've heard 3-5months ...I think jess was 5 as well ..she had a point where we had one of those prop lazer guns from a halloween party that made an alien noice if you pressed the trigger she used to chuckle madly over the noice it was hilarious !! that and when you blew a rasberry...believe me don't rush things you'll be thinking  back when was the time Courtney was a little bundle when she rushes out to meet up with her teenie friends at the local Mcds!! They grow up so fast!!

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

I think Ethan was 4-5 months old, we were playing peekaboo and he let out a big belly laugh.

Yeah 4-6 months sounds about right.  That's how it was with my 3.

I agree they grow up fast, Shes gotten so big already and doing so much stuff. Seems like yesterday I gave birth to her.
Shes starting to make those "ah-goo" sounds and also  lets u know shes unhappy with a  grunt, shows happiness with a "ahhhh" sound  [smiley=smitten.gif] .
She has the biggest, prettiest smile...after she starts laughing........,she can stop growing for awhile after that......don't feel like chasing her around the house just yet ;D

Savour every moment!

I absolutely LOVE Aillidh at this age - she's 2.5 now and like a little sponge, learning and growing.  It's so much fun to play with her, talk to her, interact w/her.  She's such a joy to be around.

But it went by SO fast!  I pack away the little bottles she used to drink from and can't help a tear or two welling up.

EVERY day w/them is such a blessing.

Alex started laughing and I meaning laughing at about 2 months.  I thought it was just gas at first.  But he continues for minutes.  He's just a little chatter box.  The longest he has gone is about 25 min. just non stop.  It's the best thing in the world to know that your baby thinks your funny. :-*
The day I met my son is the day I became me.  I thank him for that.

Ah, but at least I was good enough to record it in his baby book... 15 weeks.
