Big Read

We've been watching this, and I've wondered how our own vote would go?

Which of these books have you actually read?

I've read the CS Lewis book, Little Women, and Pride and Prejudice, but all as a teenager.

And remember, you can change your vote if you change your mind. ;)

After last night, I'd really like to read the Hitchhikers Guide. Looks great.

I've read Birdsong, Catch 22 (no offense, but I hated that book), Catcher in the Rye, Gone with the Wind, Goblet of Fire, Lord of the Rings, To Kill a Mockingbird, Pride and Prejudice, and Rebecca.  I've read bits of jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights (started them both but never finished  :-[).

I guess I have some reading to do!

I've read:
Captain Corelli (a million times better than the movie - couldn't put it down)
Gone with the Wind (read this one about 5 times...twice in one summer!)
Harry Potter (only the first one, though)
Hitchhiker's Guide (and all the sequels)
Jane Eyre
To Kill a Mockingbird (who doesn't love Atticus Finch?)
Rebecca
Wind in the Willows
Winnie the Pooh
and started Wuthering Heights, but never finished it (my bookmark is still sitting in it in the bookcase in my old room at my mothers!)

My vote has to be Hitchhiker's Guide.  Leah, you MUST read this series.  It is amazing.  Truly and utterly amazing.  And his other books in the Dirk Gently series are great, too.

I was thrilled to see them covering three of my favourite books in one show last night.  But as much as I love the other two, Douglas Adams gets my vote.

Well I haven't read many of these, I have read: Harry Potter, the lion, the witch and the wardrobe, Lord of the rings and that's about all.

I did want to read 1984 and the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy.  All the rest look like they may be a little hard to get through, especially war and peace :P

It's commonly known that Winnie the Pooh is one of the most challenging literary works of all time!   ;)  (You know I'm just teasing, right?!)   :-*
