Good luck to you!  I also work in the UK pensions industry...but I am pretty happy so far with my company so hopefully you'll find something better suited to you as well.

Good luck to you!  I also work in the UK pensions industry...but I am pretty happy so far with my company so hopefully you'll find something better suited to you as well.

I'm sure the industry itself is ok, and I suspect you're probably a lot higher up the food chain at your company than I am at mine.

I'm just a peon where I work, but in my 20+ years of professional working life -- I can say I've never worked for worse management.  That's at the heart of why I am leaving.  Also, I couldn't see myself enduring 3-5 years of this misery there for the slight prospect of becoming a pension administrator. [smiley=sleeping2.gif]

Thanks for your well wishes & for everyone's.  I know I made the right decision with every nasty email my work team receives!  (and they are legion...which is not to mention the daily, sometimes hourly, 'telling off'...) ;)
