Ralph Nader was on Sesame Street?  How odd.

You know what the saddest thing is for me?  The newer shows don't have any Kermit.  My son has no idea who he is. :\\\'(

That's when you act like me, the UBER-dweeb, and use your kid as an excuse to play the 25th Anniversary Muppet Show cd. . . . My 2 year old used to sing "Maha-mahna" to the cat. . .

I don't think "bob" is a character they use very often anymore? At least not in the states.

Yup, he's around quite a bit.  Here's the actor's website, that might help: http://www.bobmcgrath.com/

Yeah, he's not the spring chicken he once was, but he's still around for a few minutes here or there.  I almost referred to him as the "old man" in my earlier post but didn't have the heart to do it!

Ricki... he was around when we were kids, but I don't think he was on as much as the others which is why you probably don't remember him.  He did the "People In Your Neighborhood" song - remember that? :D

I still have no memory at all of him, or the song.

Does anyone remember Gordon? I really liked him. He was cool. He reminded me of Louis Gosset, Jr. :)

Of course I remember him...he was married to Susan! (I'm 90% sure that was her name!)

The "people in our neighborhood" song was about all the different "people that you meet when you're walking down the street, they're the people that you meet each day!" (paraphrased somewhat?)

I remember this one song, counting to 20...I can still hum the tune 'cause it impacted me so much! And what was that lonely letter (can't remember which one...or maybe it was the number 1?!) up on the hill song...loved that one too! (I am 41 in March...it was waaaay back, though I saw it some when my older kids were little)

Yeah, he was married to Susan. They adopted a little boy named Miles. :)

Do you remember ''The Beetles''? They sang about ''Letter B''.

When I find I can't remember what comes after A and before C
My mother always whispers, ''Letter B.''

I can't believe I still remember that song! ;D
