I do it too, and I have survived, as have all the members of my family. It is not going to kill you, and isn't it how they  discovered pennicillin? ;)

Moldy bread will only affect the severest allergy to mold. Do any of you eat bleu cheese? Guess what that colored vein running through it is?  >:D

Mold on bread?  It doesn't last long enough in my house to get mold.  If it happened, I'd eat it though (sans mold).

I cut the mold off of hard cheeses all the time ...

if its a small amount I still eat it but technically if there is a small amount on the bread it means there is more inside as the mould showing is only part of it, its called pin mould and fans out like a spiders web, we only see the head of it!!!!!

(dont you love science classes!!!! )

that's exactly why I can't eat it, i knew there had to be something else unseen going on in there. [smiley=lipsrsealed2.gif]

Well, thanks bunches. I won't be eating anymore moldy bread because I'll be wondering how much of it I'm actually consuming!!!  :o

I was thinking the same thing when I read the post! I was so happy to be getting "supportive" posts at the beginning...

Will have to think twice next time!

Not all molds are pin molds.  ;D
