small amounts of mold on bread crust

Mold on bread won't hurt you. I do it all of the time! 

I do it too, and I have survived, as have all the members of my family. It is not going to kill you, and isn't it how they  discovered pennicillin?

i agree it never hurt me but i am sure some allergies could be affected by it.

i dont eat bread very often, but if it's got even a speck of mould on it, i would bin it. 

Moldy bread will only affect the severest allergy to mold. Do any of you eat bleu cheese? Guess what that colored vein running through it is?

Mold on bread?  It doesn't last long enough in my house to get mold.  If it happened, I'd eat it though (sans mold).

I cut the mold off of hard cheeses all the time ...

if its a small amount I still eat it but technically if there is a small amount on the bread it means there is more inside as the mould showing is only part of it, its called pin mould and fans out like a spiders web, we only see the head of it!!!!!

that's exactly why I can't eat it, i knew there had to be something else unseen going on in there.

Well, thanks bunches. I won't be eating anymore moldy bread because I'll be wondering how much of it I'm actually consuming!!!

I was thinking the same thing when I read the post! I was so happy to be getting "supportive" posts at the beginning...

Will have to think twice next time!
