yeah, i saw some kaleidoscopes that a friend had, so i ended up enrolling in a bunch of classes to learn how to make them myself...  they soooo pretty!!!!!


maybe, after i get a studio, (sometime next summer hopefully), i will make one for you, if you'd like!

i make big parlor scopes, that sit on tables, handhelds, and also pendant-sized ones, which i usually make from brass or silver metal...   prices range from about $35 to $350.

i like to make them with natural, organic stuff like glass, marbles, metal, feathers, flowers, etc.   i also have one that i made with butterfly wings as the images...  (used to find them on my screened porch in the summer, so they died of natural causes...   )  i'm addicted to pretty things...

How very very cool....I just know that's the kind of thing my MiL would love.  
I may have to take you up on that offer sometime.

it's so good to be here.  i wish i could give you all a big hug right now...

i feel crazy sometimes, like no one understands where i am coming from.  it's nice to know that all these weird feelings about missing 'home' are felt by others, too. (i am having so much fun reading thru posts on here!)

...and i am sure that my husband will be glad that i finally have other people to sympathize with me and my missing Cover Girl cosmetics and Taco Bell.
