British airlines and OH MY GOD british is sooooo expensive.  :o

depends on where you fly from and when.  I just looked into my ticket for end of February and its $467 r/t from San Francisco to London, direct flight.  The same flight in July is $1000!!!!!!!! :o

For May....I'd probably grab the $727 and then stop looking at airfares altogether!!!

You may find cheaper prices by moving your trip forward a few weeks though...if you're willing to go in the spring instead of in May.  For instance, the same itinerary (SAN-LHR) on AA for March 22-April 19 is only $543 according to Orbitz....
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

Has anyone had any experience using cheaptickets.com?  They seem to quote pretty low fares.  ???

Reeeeka~ Have you considered flying out of Los Angeles? LAX will have a a lot more options for you since LAX-LHR is a major route. Just a thought.  :)

Everytime I use like cheaptickets.com, orbitz or priceline...they either end up being the same price (with an airline i don't want to fly) or more. I'll go look though...no harm in trying right!  ;D

i agree, i go direct to the providers and get the same, if not 10.00 cheaper deals (without booking fees)

plus i am an advantage member on a lot of airlines so i know i'll get credit most of the time on the flights.

Wednesdays are the cheapest days to fly out. We were told that by some person that worked at AA last year when ordering my tickets. That's why we leave during the week.   Thanks...good luck too you and your doggy! ;D

I thought about it but I'm not too sure how my mom would feel about driving up too LA. I could ask though...I'm going to look at flight options with LA...see what it's running. Thanks  :)
