I've not flown VAA's Premium Economy but we did get bumped up from World Traveller to World Traveller Plus on BA which I guess is roughly equivalent.  I have to say it was nice to have some extra leg room and I can see how that is especially nice for a tall person or someone pregnant.

But I believe that these seats go for about £300-400 extra PER PERSON on a flight to the US which is pretty steep for just getting a little extra space (the seats don't go flat or anything *really* special).  I think you do get served food first although that's not a huge priority for me.
Put it this way, if you were flying with your partner and you paid £600 round trip, would it be worth it to you to pay £1200-1400 instead for Premium Economy?

If you're six feet tall AND 27 weeks pregnant... YES.

I suppose in those circumstances it might be worthwhile but that's kinda a one-off (not being 6ft tall but being pregnant and flying) so it's probably ok to splurge a bit!

Well, that would be entirely up to her, and I don't get that she's thinking of making it a habit (flying Premium Economy or staying at 27 weeks pregnant - the six foot thing, well, I know from personal experience that that is permanent).  ;)

Seriously, dunno what kind of high I am on - ask Pebbles, Paula, Alicia or ...? whomever else was on that 'x' thread last night (LEAH, please take note! ;) ) that was DELETED :( - we were ALL on a flippin' ROLL like I personally have never been witness to on this board before.  (I'm drawing up a petition to have it reinstated)

If flying Virgin, you can't get AAdvantage miles.  If flying BA, which is a partner of AA, but you won't get any AA miles on LON to US flights.

Let me guess, the sale is till Jan 31st, but like BA's.  I am considering to buy as I need to make a trip to India in March.

PS: an additional point to the BA sale, it is also their birthday so if you root around you will be able to find an additional £25 off (i think) each person's ticket.  That is the lowest priced ticket with the discount per person additional.
