I really need to stop reading this thread. Last night it caused me to have intense cravings for El Pollo Loco, which CANNOT be satisfied anywhere close to where I live!  :(

I found in our local tesco's a gluten free enchilada dinner so means that it should be proper cornmeal tortillas......not the floury cornmeal ones...........yipppee

Anybody in the Dundee area need anything?

that's to say, we have an Immigration Office app't in the morning, and will be wandering about in Glasgow all day, our train leaves at 9pm, if the appointment has us stuck until close of business we won't be able to get to Pinto's as it's a bit distant from the Govan-based P.E.O.

Has anyone tried the takeaway stand in Camden Lock?

It looked good, but I wasn't hungry at 4pm, so I skipped. I wonder if it's worth a trip back, tho.

Let's take our wigs off in the shopi aisle and fight it out.

I had homemade enchiladas at St. George's Saturday market in Belfast... drool, it was soooo good and hit the spot at 11am  ;) The guy's wife is from Tiajuana and makes them the morning of the market.

Wow -- unusual pockets of tamale-availability over here!  Lucky you!  I'll bet they were good -- the best ones are made in situations like that.  I don't remember having a really good tamale in a proper restaurant before...the best ones I used to get from an annual (local) Catholic church fundraiser in a neighborhood where I lived (a long time ago).  This particular church had a high proportion of Mexican-Americans in the congregation, so every year they had their annual fundraising outdoor fiesta.  So good!
