Anyone have a quick crepe recipe?  I am craving them right now.  (In NY, so US measurements would be better today, if possible)

I have a whole cookbook that is just crepes, lemme know if you are still craving, and I will post the basic recipe! Super easy to make, and yes, it's from the states.

Well it's on my UK box. ;)

"English Pancakes and French crepes"

100g (4oz) Bisquick
300ml (10fl oz) milk
1 med egg

Beat until blended.

Heat 5g (1 tsp) oil in 18cm (7 in) frying pan over medium high heat. Pour about 50ml/2fl oz batter in pan; tilt pan until batter evenly coats bottom. When base of pancake is set and golden brown,  loosen and flip pancake. Cook until golden.

Makes 10 pancakes/crepes.

Thank you ladies!  I was so craving them.  Made a batch (Looked on-line) and they were gross!  Oh well!

I have two crepe cookbooks in the UK, but am visiting in the US right now.

Now I want them again ;)

What happened to make them gross? If you have the basic recipe, and pour a bit of the batter onto a greased pan, make sure to turn the pan around so to spread the batter evenly....it should turn out.

LOL, you have never had my cooking ;D  I could burn water.

I think my mom's flour was older (She doe not cook much either) and I didn't look to see if it was or not.  I've madethem before in the UK and they were fine.  I've also used a mix a lot (Greens) and they were great!
