Pollice registration on FLR

on the FLR form it asks if you've registered with the local police department.  i personally haven't.  is this necessary?  how many people have/have not?  and do you think my not registering will make them deny my FLR?

Only certain nationalities need to register with the police.  If you have never been told to, it means that you don't need to.

ok...so i'm in the clear then...i think.

out of curiosity.....if someone were going to tell me that i did need to register with them, who would that be?  entry clearance officer?  US embassy?  Home office?

There will be a stamp in your passport underneath your visa which tells you that police registration is required.  If you don't see one, then you're ok.....
