Excellent idea! Lists really help when things get overwhelming and you can't think straight.

It would be helpful if you didn't erase your entire original post as people who are just reading the thread won't have any idea what you were after.

Again, your boyfriend will NOT be able to work until AFTER you are married, even if it's at home.  Be careful.

Why are you freaking out about him being sent home in 2003?  He's doing nothing wrong now by applying for a visa.  He will have to say he was denied entry on his application but that's not a big deal.
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…

I think the question means if he can't come to the UK to live, do you two still plan to get married. Ex. would you then explore moving to the US to marry him and live here. How do you answer that? Truthfully.

Sorry, but since you deleted your original post, I have no idea what your or his situation is, so excuse me if I've gotten the situation wrong. But if you are saying that he will write while in the UK to to try to earn money, he can't do that; that's working.

He can, he just can't get paid for it.  Is he actually working for Marvel?  They might have some advice on this.
