that spinach dip recipe...
« on: February 09, 2006, 07:14:27 PM »
...you know, the one you serve in a hollowed out loaf of bread. I recall it just being frozen spinach, sour cream, and a packet of (I think) dried vegetable soup. But I can't recall for sure. I know there are versions with water chestnuts and stuff but I want to know if it is dried vegetable soup... and then wonder if the UK version will work as well....
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I think I've heard of it with Ranch salad dressing mix as well (instead of soup mix).

Balmerhon,

I've used Knorr Florida Spring Vegetable (or Onion can't remember the exact name) here and it tastes the same.  It's always been a v. big hit every time I've made it over here.
