Something odd about me....

I shave the bottom of my feet to get rid of dead skin - 

I use a paddle that I got from a pedicurist.  It has two grades of sandpaper, one on each side.  I use it on my feet in the shower.  It works better than anything and the last time I went for a pedicure, I didn't need the "shaving" of my calluses because there were none!

I use the same thing, works great!!

There are quite a few things about me that I am sure some would think "odd"...but, to name one that even I think a bit odd, at work, if someone has put a roll of toilet paper (bathroom tissue, loo roll, whatever you call it) on the rod the wrong way (wrong: paper dispensing from underneath - right: paper dispensing from on top), I feel the need to correct it.  Yep, just a bit obsessive/compulsive there.

My brother is the same way.  When we were kids I used to torment him by switching all the rolls in the house.  Used to drive him crazy!

I LOVE raw tomatoes, but cannot eat cooked tomatoes... no tomato sauce, no ketchup, no fried tomato with the English breakfast, sauce wiped off the pizza base, etc ... UGH.  But i could eat an entire plateful of raw sliced tomatoes with salt & olive oil! 

Im the exact opposite. I love all kinds of tomatoes as long as theyre cooked. Raw tomatoes make me gag seriously.

Also another weird thing about me is I like the taste of raw red meat. I think it all started when I was very young and would taste the raw meatballs my grandmother would make. She would ask if they needed more salt, etc. Ever since then I liked the taste (not smell) of red meat.

Me too!  Cooked tomatoes are fab, but only way I can eat raw tomatoes is if they're well masked with other strongly flavored ingredients -- like in pico de gallo, for instance.

I am deathly afraid of vomiting, and haven't thrown up in 12 years.  I don't know how I'll deal with morning sickness if I ever get pregnant.... 

This I find remarkable! I barf for everything. I hate to of course but Im just one of those pukey people. Pregnancy was a total nightmare with morning sickness throughout all my pregnancies.

Meshell, where did you find that razor?  I've been looking for one over here and can't find one like I used to buy in the States.  I know it's better to not slice off the calluses, but my feet feel SO soft afterwards!!!  In Hoboken, where I used to live, the salon I went to would use them and the pedicure was $10!!!  Oh well....I haven't had pedicure since I've been in the UK.

I am pretty sure I got it at Boots......it has a cream color handle on it that is about 6 inches long...

I like to light a match, blow it out and then eat the burnt bit.

I remember getting in trouble when I was young. I have curtailed my habit only because it doesn't set a good example to the little one.
