I don't know if it's been mentioned yet or not, but I really like the smell of skunk.
Not sure if I ever smelled it. Not sure if I would like it though. But don't knock till you've tried it, right?
One thing can make me gag just thinking about it and that is fish paste. Not the common run-of-the-mill kind that you get in the wee jars here but the real McCoy, uncooked and homemade. I once made the mistake of sticking my nose in the jar to have a smell and let me tell you, you will only ever do that once!
Now homemade fish paste (similiar to Thai fish paste but much stronger). Made in jars, with every piece of fish scraps, garlic, chilis, onions etc and then just sits and
festers ferments. Constantly added to. Take out small amounts to cook with. I knew some people that had jars on the go for years. It is RIPE. I mean real RIPE! So ripe in fact that it would knock a buzzard off a sh*t wagon!
