Hi, I enjoy running. I wish I had the self-discipline to run every day, but I do manage to train for 2-3 marathons each year. Since running the New York City marathon in 1999, I've done 14 total, including London, the Marine Corps Marathon in Wash DC, Cincinnati, Twin Cities (Minn), Seattle, Vancouver, and Chicago (my favorite). I'm training for a Seattle-area marathon on 9 July.
This August I'm moving to Cambridge, and I've been looking for a marathon to run late this year. The one in Snowdonia National Park looks really pretty. If we still have some money left after the move, I'd love to run the Florence marathon -- my wife and I love Italy. If we can't find time and money to travel, I'll probably just run the Luton marathon which cheap and is just 3 times around a flat loop.
I hope to find lots of nice places for training runs in and around Cambridge. We aren't sure if we'll live in the city or one of the neighboring villages yet. Convenient running routes will be a factor in our decision!
