20 working days...as of today

so...the home office has officially had my FLR application for 20 working days...as of today.  it says on the application (as i'm sure most of you already know who have applied) that 70% of applications are processed in 20 working days.  so now i'm starting to get worried that my application might be in the 70 working days category....which is a HUGE difference from only 20 working days.  i'm kicking myself in the ar*e for not just going down there in person and applying.

anyway....i want to find out from those of you that have applied, how long did it take for your application?  has anyone been in the "70 working days" category?  does anyone know if they are particularly busy at this time of year...or do they even have a "busy time"? 

i'm hoping for the best, but expecting the worst in this situation.....did it get lost in the mail? did someone steal it because the package screamed "passports enclosed"?  etc.....

well...i just checked on the home office website and it says they are currently working on applications submitted in January 2006.  since they received mine on 30 Jan, i guess it's still being processed.   

my FLR took almost a month,but there were a few holidays and bank holidays in that time frame

WOO HOO!!!!  i got my FLR today!!!  i'm so happy i don't have to worry...or wait...anymore!!!  i'm off to apply for jobs like crazy!!
