What book came with it?  Was it The Juice Master's Ultimate Fast Food?

If so - it's got a lot of cool recipes and it has a great section on what's *in* each fruit/veg.

I found a local market that sells cheap produce!  The other day Waitrose has 2 kiwi for .59p - this market had a basket of 12 for .50p!!  Tesco had pineapples for £2.29 and this market....£1.19!! Guess where I'm going on Saturday!  ;D

Just wondering how everyone is getting on with their juicers. I want to buy a juicer and after reading reviews, I am not sure which one to get. The price of the Moulinex seems great, but the review, not so. I am considering the Jack LaLanne one. Anyone have it?

Im thinking of putting mine up for sale on eBay, or taking to my next car boot sale.

DH has decided that the fruit juices are 'too acidic' for him and doesnt want to drink them anymore, and i cant be arsed cleaning the machine just to make juice for myself.   :(

When you did use it, did it work well?
Maybe I'll take it off your hands...

Yes.. it worked great!    Cleaning it was the biggest drawback  for me... you've got to be organised and clean it immediately after use.

Sold my juicer at my most recent car boot sale.  :(
I'm a failed juicer.

I kept meaning to buy a juicer, but still haven't. What was it about juicing that you failed at?

It wasn't all my fault, i suppose.
DH decided that the fruit juices were too acidic and were upsetting his stomach and giving him mouth ulcers.  I suggested diluting it with water, but he didnt want to do that.  ::)

So i started using the juicer less often because of that, and then on the odd occasion when i did use it, the cleaning of the machine afterward made me feel very hateful.  :)

I know what you mean about the cleaning. Not really difficult just too many pieces. I am still using my juicer a lot, but I only make one thing; carrot, apple and ginger. I just can't be bothered to get creative with it.
