partner's child support for my spousal visa?

Hi again everyone,

Thanks for your helpful comments when I was freaking out last week. I have another question for you guys.

My fiance has a son from a previous relationship (not marriage). The ex-girlfriend has custody (they live in the UK), but my fiance sends her child support.

I noticed on the spousal visa form they ask you to list your children. His son won't be moving in with us or getting a visa, but when I apply for my spousal visa to go over to the UK, should I bring along any kind of supporting documents that prove that my fiance pays child support? He says that he doesn't have an official child support payment scheme, but sometimes he sends checks or does bank transfers, but I'm not sure what I could include - if I need to include anything at all.

From what you've said, you are the one going to the UK right?  Well, I think all he'd need to do is list his son as his child and give bank statements.  I don't remember seeing any part were you'd put down what he pays for child support or if you need proof of it.
But, I don't have children, nor does my husband, so maybe others could help more.

You just need to state your fiancee has a child and that he live in the uk I can't remember if it asks you put an address I think it asks for other people who you are financially responsible for who live with you as your soon to be husband does not live with his soon you just put no or leave it blank as far as I can remember but will double check the form.
