Cambezola....A combo of Camembert and Gorgonzola (I think).  It's a deliciously creamy cheese with a strand of blue through it.

That's one of my faves, too!

But, like a lot of you, I love way too many cheeses to narrow it down to one.

Fresh buffalo mozz with tomatoes and basil ... feta sprinkled on a salad with walnuts and dried cranberries ... cheddar golden-brown and bubbling on top of some cauliflower cheese ....

I'm in the "too many great ones to narrow it down" camp too. I've recently had an English cheddar with caramelized onions mixed in that was pretty divine. Smoked Gouda, goats cheese, Munster, Camembert, Brie, Feta....all yummy stuff! Can't wait to get there and try all the ones I've never heard of! :)

Okay I draw the line at anything that tastes like licking a dirty sheep/goat.  I have only tried one like it once... in France on a cheese cart....

I swear I read, 'in France on a cheese fart' :o ;D

MMMMmm

This is made with the black peppercorn cheese

Ingredients

450g (1lb) black peppercorn cheddar, cut into large cubes
100g (4oz) plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Salt & pepper
175ml (6fl oz) cold lager

 Method
Sift the flour, baking powder, salt and pepper, then stir in the parsley and sesame seeds. Add lager and mix to a stiff batter, adding a little water if necessary. Beat well until smooth. Heat some oil in a deep fat fryer to 185°C (370°F). Drop the cubes of cheese into the batter, lift out gently - making sure they are fully coated. Deep fry until crisp. Serve with a salsa or chutney.

I ADORE cheese but have been a bit off it during this pregnancy. Horrors!!

I'm a huge fan of Godminster Cheddar - possibly one of the best cheddars I've ever tried. Also love stiltons/gorgonzola/roquefort, brie, and soft goats cheese.

YUM!
