A pork sandwich on Hovis 50/50 bread, a couple large carrots sliced up, & some Walkers Baked plain chips.

We had a ham and veg sandwich picnic on our walk today. (After all this time living here, I still think of a ham salad sandwich as ground ham with mayo and a chicken salad sandwich as ground chicken with mayo.  ;D)

You & I think the same way about those sandwiches. ;)  :)

Some potato salad & a Haslet sandwich never had it before it was actually quite nice Dh said it wasn't as heavenly seasoned as the the kind he normally gets.

I had leftover brocolli soup and yorkshire puddings from last night. OMG, I have finally cracked a really good Yorkshire pudding.  Wheee, I'm really turning British now, hahahaha.  Seriously, they were amazing.  And tasted awesome today as well.

I expect it's because you have finally been to Yorkshire...  ;) :D

Birthday cake  :D

The best lunch ever.  ;D

I had a spicy chicken sandwich from the chippy and a lovely fruit and cream croissant from Spar's bakery. I opted for it instead of birthday cake, since I am all about American (bakery) birthday cake icing and can't seem to find it here.

I agree!  ;D Hubby and my brother both have theirs on the 23rd, and my twin nieces have theirs on the 30th, but I'm glad mine is in the early part of the month.

Most definitely agree with the statement of 'any reason for cake'.  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]
