Considering the lack of food in my refrigerator, I'm thinking it's time to break into my stash of Annie's mac & cheese...

The last 2 days' lunch has been cheese (cheddar, Wensleydale) on 2-3 oatcake biscuits with 'pickle' on top.
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in...

- from Anthem, by Leonard Cohen (b 1934)
