FLR question
« on: March 02, 2006, 10:26:06 AM »
I have a few questions before I send this out. I will be getting married on my B-day this Saturday and hopefully send the FLR out so I can work as soon as its approved. Anyway, I was wondering about Bank statements. I dont have any but my fiance does with her's. Is that ok? She works part time and also has benefits. I shouldn't worry about it since I got my fiance visa that way. Also,on 3.2 (FLR M) it says about children. My fiance has a daughter with her previous marriage. Do I include her as well with her passport? The documents I will be sending will be:

1) Marriage Cert.
2) 2 pics of me and 1 of her
3) My passport and her passport. (Hope I can get hers certified copies of it since she will be going on holiday in April 5th)
4) Her wage slips
5) Her divorce descree

Hope thats it. Am I missing anything? Thanks everybody. ;)

If you are the person applying then there is no need to include your fiancee's child's passport, as I assume she is in the UK already.  I believe that there is a space for her to be listed on the form.

The documents you provided for the fiance visa should be successful in getting you a spousal visa, unless it was a long time ago and circumstances have changed.

Yes I'm the one applying for it. Her daughter is a UK citizen but do I still need to put her on the form with her picture? I do still have like the forms from my fiance visa but I threw my bank statements and my old work wage slips away. Thanks..

The form is very clear on where children need to be listed.

I didn't list my husband's kids on the FLR form. You only have to list them (and provide pictures for them) if they need FLR to stay in the country with you. You can skip that part.
