Has anyone used Expat-Shopper USA.com? Or rec'd a response?
« on: March 07, 2006, 01:53:22 PM »
Hello,

I'm trying to have a particular soya milk shipped from the US to me in the UK.  There are no distributors in the UK, all distribution of this milk stopped last year, for various reasons.

I've filled out the price quote request form at http://www.expatshopper-usa.com/ and I never hear back from them.

I'm wondering if they still exist, or their webmaster has just not taken down the site.

Thanks for any feedback on this particular US goods supplier!

No, nothing yet, sadly.  I ended up using http://www.americanfoodworldwide.com/index.html instead.  Pricey, for sure, but they ship so quickly and Albertson's has items I cannot get from Skyco, Cybercandy, Obcusa, etc like Light popcorn and soy milk.  I also wanted donuts so I need the UPS Express shipping.

Still strange though, wonder if the Expat Shopper still exists!

Oooh, it's pretty expensive. I'd only do it for financial reasons as I'm more than happy with the shopping choices in the UK, but I'm not sure it's really worth it financially. They charge $24.99 postage to the UK, plus 7.9% for processing. That's not even counting duty.  :-\\\\
