I had one that I bought in Austria, but I ruined it when we moved here and I changed the plug on it.  :(
We decided to buy a Jamie Oliver grill pan to replace it. Cooking time is a bit longer but I like it equally.

If they made it so the grill plates came off the cooker like they do with waffle makers, then I'd buy another one.

Like this?

We binned ours, but did use it quite heavily for a while.  Clean up was a nightmare.  If they made it so the grill plates came off the cooker like they do with waffle makers, then I'd buy another one.

Actually - they do have removable dishwasher safe ones now.  :)  We don't have a dishwasher - so it's a moot point for us.  :D

Ooooh, now I want quesadillas!!!

Why am I so suggestible?!?! You could have said "they're also great for old leather boots and marmite" (or even curry toothpaste!) and I would have reacted the same way. Yeesh.
