I'd like to participate, but I live alone so am not sure being inundated with yummies (and just me to eat them) is a wise idea.  :-\\\\

Can't Guy help?  (I think that is his name?)

Of course he'd love to help! But he doesn't live here -- he's 6 hours away. :(

I found dry 'Gourmet Polenta' (aka cornmeal) at Sainsburys in the past -- still have some.  Runs in my mind that (here) it's in the Health Food (organic packaged stuff. gluten free, etc) aisle -- either among the Health Foods (??) or on the dry beans & tinned tomatoes side.  (I would either look there or in the international foods section maybe.)

I'm fairly sure I've seen polenta even at Tesco's. Seems to me it was with the rice, lentils, couscous, etc.

Regarding the chocolate chips, I never used them even in the US. Too small and blah. I always bought baking chocolate (dark and white) and cut it up into big rough chunks. Yummm! There's nothing like homemade white chocolate & macadamia cookies!

was too tired last night to bake, so......they's in the oven right now!  I can so far say the dough was delicious! :P

I used the light soft brown sugar and the plain flour.  I also went to Sainsbury's this morning and got real vanilla extract, same brand I bought in the states too! ;D

edited to say..... THEY ARE DELICIOUS!!!  Cant wait for hubs to get home and have some fresh baked goodies!!! ;D
