Airheads
« on: December 16, 2003, 06:03:59 PM »
Well, I am one, because I just spent a small fortune ordering some on-line to stuff in the boys' stockings for Xmas.  I can't wait to see the looks on their faces - they LOVE the stuff and haven't had any probably since last year.

Of course, since I was ordering anyway, I figured I'd pick up some Coffee Nips and Necco Wafers for myself!   ;)

Got it from Cybercandy.  Luckily enough, today is the last day to order in time for Xmas delivery!

Peedal, you like Necco wafers?  I thought they were only sold here in New England.  That's where they are made!  Small world.

If I recall, they are those things that look like a coin, almost as hard, have the name imprinted in them and usually taste of licorice? If them are they, I used to get them! But that was my youth in Pennsylvania. Back when there was this great penny candy store...the place that has a soda fountain and made the BEST hot fudge sundaes in the world.

You can get a package of just the chocolate ones - but I like the mixed ones.

Necco wafers were what I chose as a treat in the pharmacy downstairs from my dentist when I was a kid (yes - that was a long time ago...).  ;D

I'm sooo glad to know that Necco wafers still exist! I remember walking through the orange groves in So. Cal. (maaannnny years ago), when it still had orange groves, and buying those at the "little store." You could make one last a long time. I thought they'd disappeared. What about Abba-Zabba bars? Are they still available?
