Strong strong stinky cheeses!  I liked strong cheddars as a kid, but not the really stinky stuff.  I love them all now.

I can't think of many but I'll give it a go.

Raw tomatoes
Lassi - it's an Indian drink that I always used to say I hated.  Now I don't like the plain ones much but of course love the mango!

Wow I liked a lot when I was a kid I guess!  Or else I didn't get much variety.   :-\\\\

Onions - love them now, especially for flavoring
Wasn't a big meat eater - very carnivore now
Water - hated to drink, drink at least 100oz a day now

I guess I was a weird child ;) I liked fried zucchini, pumpkin blossoms, tomatoes that sort of thing.

But I HATED green beans, unless my grandma made them her way, I really like them now ;)

I didnt like spinach either and now like it in a few things (spinach dip, spinach stuffed shells).

I used to looove onions as a child, my mom has pictures of me when I was maybe 2 years old sitting on the floor eating an onion from the garden like an apple with more of them around me...I apparently liked to pick them too ;)

makes me want cucmbers and onions....have it every summer..its sooo good :)

We have kind of a womany/oniony thing going in my family. I was weaned on a spring onion, instead of a pacifier. My mother loved onions so much, she used them as a centerpiece on the dinner table. And put them in our stockings at Christmas (then collected them from us to make Christmas dinner). I vividly remember my grandmother defiantly eating raw onions, knowing she would be doubled over with pain a few hours later. Loved them, couldn't digest them.

I'm learning what Granny went through. I'm getting so I don't digest raw onions all that well, and they cause me great pain. So...I sautee a little. I'm not so defiant.

Oh gosh I hate onions.  Didn't mind them as a kid but don't like them at all now if they're raw.  I don't mind minced sauteed onions but otherwise - yuck.  In the area where DH is from in India, they usually serve a spring onion at the plate and you eat it raw.   Luckily DH does not do this but FIL loves it! The other thing is spinach... wouldnt touch it as a child, and now like it if it's in a curry.   :)

Spinach! I thought I hated spinach as a child because the only way it was ever served at school or at home was that awful slimy stuff out of a can -- like what Popeye ate...and it smelled of vinegar too.  THAT stuff gave me the boak.  I love fresh spinach, in salads, and when it's lightly steamed or stir-fried or in curry, etc.

Like many kids, I didn't like a lot of fruits & veg...the acceptable veggies were corn, peas and green beans, I think.  I did like a few more fruits -- apples, oranges, bananas, grapes, strawberries.  I only 'learned' to eat brussel sprouts in the last two years, at my DH's insistence...still can't say I'm keen on them, but the best way he's done brussel sprouts thus far is a kind of saute' with smoked bacon.  That's yummy but it's probably 'cause I mostly taste the bacon. :P

I can even eat the slimy tinned stuff now, as long as its in a curry.  I sometimes bung it in just for the extra nutrition. (if there is any, after being in a tin for months!)

I was always a good eater, so as a child, I did like most things.  I still do.

Tomatoes, of any kind, I would not touch as a kid.  I love them now,  any kind!

Indian food. I hated it as a child! I think it was because we moved to a foreign place when I was 5 years old and used to very English food. I really resented the fact that I had to eat all that "weird" stuff. But now it's probably my favourite food!

Common in the Southern US, too. Usually at lunchtime with, like, a sandwich, they'll put a few spring onions on the side of the plate with a little pile of salt. You dip the onion in salt and take a bite. My stepfather scandalized everyone -- not only did he eat the GREEN PART of the onion, he at the green part FIRST.

Well, really.
