eeewwww!  We always put sugar on grapefruit.  What about rhubarb? Salt or Sugar? I've seen both, partial to sugar on mine if eaten raw ;)

My grandmother (the onion eater) put salt on watermelon, and black pepper on canteloupe. Despite how it sounds, both are pretty tasty.

Of course, she also et pickled pig trotters, so let's draw a veil over grandma for now...

I hate melon and can only stomach it with salt.  It's not so weird when you think about those horsderves that people serve - prosciutto wrapped melon.

We eat a fruit salad sort of thing with salty seasonings - it's called fruit chaat and it's really really good.  Never thought I would like fruit with salt but there you go....

The only thing I can think of that I didn't like as a child that I love now is raw oysters.

Dried mango with chili is to die for!!!  Mmmmm..... :)
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

I like strawberries with hot mustard.

OK, that's not really true. I just felt the need to join in!

I dunno.  I think it sounds delicious.  Here's a recipe I found for strawbery mustard.  I have a recipe for strawberry barbeque sauce too.  Mmmmm, strawberry mustard with strong cheese... [smiley=smug2.gif]

 Strawberry Mustard
     1/2 cup dry mustard (Coleman’s)
2 T water
2 cups pureed strawberries
1 cup vinegar (white wine or cider)
1/2 cup minced onion
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. tumeric
2 T minced pineapple sage (optional)
1. Sift mustard, combine with water, let sit.
2. Combine remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
3. Lower heat and cook for two minutes.
4. Whisk (do not stir) 1/4 cup hot mixture into mustard until smooth.
5. Repeat, using 1/4 cup hot mixture each time until all is blended.
6. Cool and refrigerate. Will keep for several weeks
7. Serve with boiled shrimp, grilled sausages, baked ham, etc
