Funny...out of the blue yesterday I got a craving for garden herb Triscuits (I can't even remember if that is the what they're really called, but you know the ones.) I love the Rye ones too...and the plain ones! Even some multi grain wheat thins would be nice!  But, I have nothing to complain about really since I discovered Finz at Asda!

WHY NO TRISCUITS?

Can you get Stoned Wheat Thins?  Cheezits?

Triscuits should be everywhere... the boxes I bring to Japan are snapped up immediately.  I've never been able to find Cheezits in BC, and that's another mystery.

Yep, I usually go for Mexican right away, too.  And pickled herring on Stoned Wheat Thins.  (They sweeten pickled herring here.  All of it.)

Not quite the same. I will never forget the time I ordered a seafood platter and was extremely dissappointed!  Everything on it was cold.  Cold shrimp, cold crab, cold, cold, cold.  Straight from the fridge. Yeah, I know you can get hot shrimp (oh, excuse me .... prawns) but it more than that. I want my Alaskan King Crab legs, hot out of the pot, served with melted butter. I was ever so disappointed again when I saw the size of the crabs over here.  LOL  And it is usually served cold.  As well as lobster tail. That was mostly what I was referring to

WHY NO TRISCUITS?

Because we're in a foreign country, and things are sometimes different!  ;)   ;)

No Wheat Thins.   I saw Cheezits for a short while a few years ago, but they seem to have disappeared now.

Oh yes, we have apologist types in Japan, too.  "It's a different culture."

No.  Not having triscuits isn't 'different'.  It's wrong. Like slimy seaweed, raw eggs and natto for breakfast.  WRONG.

(I am joking, btw... but the 'traditional' Japanese breakfast is really, really disgusting.)

So, how do we get a hold of Nabisco and make them know about the worldwide Triscuit demand?  There IS demand, obviously.

Mmmm, triscuits..the original ones.
White cheddar cheez-its
And when I visit my family:
Grippo's Bar-B-Q chips
A couple cheese coney's and a three way chili spaghetti from Skyline Chili.  With a ton of oyster crackers and hot sauce.

A couple cheese coney's...

Now that gives me a hankering for a Sonic foot-long chili & cheese coney with onions.  I'll feel awful after I've eaten it, but I soooo want one. :P  (With a cherry limeade.)

Now that's just crazy talk.

I know ... but I've heard it's been done before (not necessarily for Triscuits though).
Guess it just depends on how passionate one is about one's cause.

I'd do it for more lembas bread, but that's just me.
