Eating canned beef & vegetable soup and bread. The soup is more flavorful than expected.

Hate eating this late, but I don't get home until after 11  :-\\\\

My usual after the gym snack a large Gala apple.

Isn't it recommended to eat a lot of protein (and carbohydrates) after working out- within half an hour? Protein and amino acids are essential to help your muscles heal, so loading up on protein helps rebuild new cells and recover quickly. I like to drink chocolate soy milk after a good workout. :)

Anyways, the last meal I ate was quinoa pine nut pilaf. nomnomnom.

When I leave the gym I have to wait in the car for Dh to get off work usually between 30 min-45 min's so that's why I have an apple. I don't drive & there isn't a local shop around my gym that has choc milk within walking distance not to mention I'm well knackered after the gym as well. I read about choc milk after the gym but I have to be careful with my sugar intake an choc milk has alot of sugar in it. when Dh gets off work we head home we usually start dinner within 15 min's after getting home an Dh having a cup tea to wind down after work. ;)  :) The past couple years I have had issues with my tummy I cant drink anything warm that was once cold even water I get severe tummy cramps & need the loo right quick if I have drank it Sorry TMI well lets just say its not a pretty picture at all.  ::)  :P

A banana & a bowl of Bran flakes cereal with some cinnamon sprinkled over it.

Ah.. I can see how that would be a problem then. Why not take some nuts (not salted or smoked) then? They're great for muscles and ultra healthy (unless you're allergic). :)

Had jasmine rice topped with grated ginger, scallions, mushrooms and a soy sauce/rice vinegar mixture. (I normally put a fried egg over this, but I ran out of eggs..)

MIL's birthday is tomorrow, but she will be with the nephews all day so we took her out for breakfast this morning. Silly me decided on the full English (and gave the black pudding to hubby). You'd think I'd remember how icky I feel with that overstuffed, grease soaked feeling I have when I get it.

Half of a small roasted chicken breast and some wild rice.

My husband's dinner.  :P I guess I really DID want the leftover macaroni and cheese! He kept offering it, I kept turning it down, then I started eating a couple of bites here and there and couldn't stop.
