I've been trying to use up stuff in the freezer (plus I am sick to death of porridge--ugh--it just tastes / feels like wallpaper paste to me these days), so some leftover nut roast from Christmas for breakfast.

A few shortbread cookies and some chocolate. I am doing my best to struggle on conquering the mountain of goodies in the house.  ;D We intended to start a diet at the first of the year. However, we may have to start it a couple weeks into the year.

Miso ramen soup and spekulatius spiced biscuits from Lidl. Still recovering from Christmas and Boxing Day...
It is difficult to speak adequately, or justly, of London. It is not a pleasant place; it is not agreeable, or easy, or exempt from reproach. It is only magnificent... the biggest aggregation of human life, the most complete compendium in the world.

Cheese and crackers. We've bought a few kinds of cheese, and have been given a couple gift packs of cheese and summer sausage, so we have quite a variety of cheese.
