I've always been a 'root for the underdog' kinda gal... and I promised someone a very long time ago that no matter what happened between us, I'd always be a Man City supporter  ::), and I kinda like how they're always UP or DOWN... you just never know!

Though I do love watching Liverpool

Me too. Though DH is dubious as to whether or not one is allowed a "second favourite."  ;)

Oh, yah.  He's not militant or anything. And if there is a match with Man City, he'll root for Man city over any other team, except Man United.

But you are allowed a team from another league...
Like my team are a Scottish team, so im 'allowed' to have an English team as well... my English team are Preston North End.  ;)

I also have a German team:  1.FC Koeln.  :)

Proud supporter of Wigan Athletic here!

My husband is a Wiganer and started me on them when we first met. They were in the 2nd Division then, so I've followed them from the bottom to their current 8th place ranking in the Prem. We have season tickets and I'm loving it!

I grew up playing soccer at home and was a season ticket holder to the Philadelphia Charge in the few years that the Women's Soccer League existed. Hopefully they will be back in action by the time we move back home - then it's my husband's turn to support MY local!!!
