Can Edinburgh and Glasgow be seen in the same long weekend?
« on: April 08, 2006, 08:35:38 AM »
Daft questin, I know but I'm rubbish with Geography.  Is it possible to fly up(from Surrey) and be in both cities in one long weekend. Or are they too far apart?  We're looking at Unis this summer and I'm trying to plan the best(read cheapest) way to do it.   :)

Yes, very easy to do both in the same weekend.  The train journey between the two cities is about 45 minutes if my memory serves me correctly.
