So, which one do you prefer?

DH is a Rolo man, but I'm Green & Black all the way!

My DH is a Rolo man too!
Mine had better be a Lindt gold-wrapped chocolate rabbit, but failing that, a Creme Egg one would do.

Have you not had a creme egg?  Ooooo.  Oooo.  You must have one.  Better yet, get some Cadbury fingers to make soldiers for your creme egg.  3 for 99p in Woolies.  Mmmm.

Can someone please explain for the expat who's celebrating her first Easter here?  I mean I know the Cadbury creme eggs, but is there something else?  Do all the chocolate makers make eggs or something?  And are they all solid chocolate?

Nope just the bunny. I didn't like creamy stuff as a kid, just those mini eggs with the puffed rice in them. mmm...

Must.not.be.tempted....

Ah forget it. I'm getting a cadbury egg   :P

I'm the same as you Geetak. I need some eggy guidance.

I'd have to think about my favorite Easter egg, but those Cadbury fingers - the best!!  My Mom kept saying it sounded like this/that in the States, but there IS no comparison!!!

And are they all solid chocolate?

The egg is hollow, but the egg comes w/a bar of chocolate the type you buy.  Like, a Yorkie egg has a hollow egg made from Yorkie choccie.  And a Yorkie bar as well.

Cadbury creme eggs are just in a class by themselves, however.

Yeah I want to have a nice British Easter!  If there is such a thing that is.  I tried grilling my coworkers for clues today but they weren't much help.  I brought back a Pas dye kit so at least I've got that going for me.   :P

Oh ok, so I should get some others in addition to the Cadbury's!  Just to see what it's like, of course.  For scientific purposes only.

I used to love Walnut Whipps ....lindt Bunny for me
But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

What's this Green and Black business? I'm I totally missing it in the stores?

I went to Woolworth last week to stock of Easter treats for the family. Pranksters like to smash the eggs so just make sure you check it is whole before you but the ones in packets instead of foil wrapped. I missed the Smarties egg and found it was smashed... yuck, don't try that one.  :P

Yeah, all the chocolate makers do their own chocolate eggs.

Even Cadbury Creme Eggs come with an easter egg... you'll get a large hollow choccy egg, plus 2 or 3 normal sized creme eggs in the box.

Go to the supermarket and look at the displays... there are LOADS!!
