Ohdear. Loan woes.
« on: April 18, 2006, 01:50:00 AM »
Sorry, sorry, but yes -- this is another loan type question.

I managed to get myself into Gloucetershire University to study illustration this coming Fall, but unfortunately -- a lot of the main bank loan lenders like Bank of America, Key-Bank, Citi-bank, Sallie Mae don't /recognize/ the school. I'm not sure how to go about all this loan business for Gloucestershire Uni. I followed the advice on an earlier topic and applied at www.internationalstudentloan.com [nofollow] and IEFC, but I'm wondering if there are any more options out there?

I'm sorry if this is a repetitive topic, but gooooodness. Half the battle of attending school in the UK is getting the money. Argh. @_@;;;

I'm not sure how, but good LUCK!!!

Maybe a personal loan instead of a stafford one? I had a hard enough time getting the loan when it was ON the list, so I hope it goes well for you.

btw, your major sounds really cool, didn't know that was something you could study.

Mm. I looked into personal loans from BFA, but they gave me the brush off. MEH.  :-\\\\

Oh! Yeah. Thanks. I'm hoping to be an concept artist and the Gloucestershire Uni actually looks like it has a nice art degree programme. Plus, you know, it's close to the boyfriend. Heh. Which, heck, is mostly the reason I'm going there.  :P

Yeah! I can see that. Five months! Wow. I bet you're just super excited.  :)

And I hope it all works out, too -- It'll just be devestating to go through all this and not get the funding in the end. ^^;;
