I passed my behind the wheel practical on the first time out!!!!  What a relief!

Man I was a wreck beforehand, though.  I hardly slept last night, and running to the toilet every ten minutes, but I had it firmly, philosophically in my mind that this was my first attempt and I was not going to be too surprised if I failed. 

I didn't think I did very well at the backing around the corner maneuver, but there were no points off.  I really thought I had screwed up when I waved a family with a baby buggy across a cross walk (they looked like they were just about to step off!).  I guess you can take the girl out of California, but not California out of the girl!!   I remembered not to cross my hands over one another,  and pull on the hand brake and only signal when someone was there to see and my biggest bugaboo, I remembered  mirror before signal!

I am soooo relieved!!   Thank you all soooo much for helping me when I was really low to stand up and do what was necessary.  You were great!!

I am LEGAL now!!!  Yippee!

Congratulations, Kat!!! I know exactly how you feel right now!! I was so relieved and euphoric after passing my test that I nearly got in an accident driving home from the test centre!

Aren't you glad you bit the bullet and just went for it? Yaye for you!! ;D
