The Amex has seen some heavy duty action in the last few days, as my family in the UK realizes this is their last chance to get cheap US consumer goods for some time. So far the list includes:

A new Garmin GPS for my dad, since his is 6 yrs old, and about as useful as a brick.
3 radio controllers for remote camera flashes for my brother. (breathtakingly expensive for what seems to be a very simple piece of kit).
A collection of bike parts for me, since they are at least 50% of the UK price, and you can never have too many spare bike parts.

Oh, and I finally booked my ticket too. Against my better judgment, I'm going through Chicago on Saturday, and will be reunited with my family in Teesside on Sunday afternoon.

But never fear, gentlemen; castration was really not the point of feminism, and we women are too busy eviscerating one another to take you on.

Berger Cookies......

I happen to be, at this very moment, less than 10 miles from the bakery where these are made. Do I sense a possible import/export opportunity here?  [smiley=deal2.gif]
