I buy the largest size jug they have once a year b/c it's pretty much all I use to clean.

Clean what?? (Besides your body of course!)  Does it smell nice?

I'm guessing she cleans the house (kitchen counters, etc.) with it.  I love the smell of peppermint, but have only ever used it on me and not to clean house with. It's so refreshing!

OK, I went a bit mad yesterday and have now bought: an origami instruction book and papers, an exercise video and a new computer mouse. I'm going to try to go a whole day without ordering something today!

i dont think they use it on their bodies... she makes up cleaning solutions for floors, walls, surfaces, etc.

The Garlic Card is a rip-off, btw... it did make a mushy puree, but took ages, and the oil from the garlic clove just seeped everywhere and made a mess.   I did 2 cloves and chucked the card in the bin.

I bet it was the video that sold you on the product  ;)

There is one garlic press I've seen at Waitrose... you put the cloves in this cylindrical object and twist down the tube as you need it. I am curious about it!

But Dr. Bronner's also does lovely bar soap for cleaning bodies!

Good to know! This is kind of cool -- as well as letting each other know what we're buying, we can do product reviews! ;D

For what it's worth, I was taught to make a garlic puree just using a chef's knife. It's not that difficult -- might take you a while the first couple of times, but you'll get the hang of it soon enough!

Last thing I bought online was a bra.

Good to know about that garlic card--I was curious about it, but I'm one of the few weird people who actually prefer garlic thinly sliced rather than pureed. I use a sharp Japanese chef's knife to cut whole cloves in thin slices for any recipe requiring garlic.

that sux!  :(

on the other hand, the burger maker from Lakeland is excellent.  i sent my dad one, b/c he makes liberal use of his built in grill back home.  he LOVES it.  got him the quarter pound press for one of his father's day gifts.

my mom ordered eight more for friends back home to take back w/her after her next visit.

I havent seen the video!
I bought it on Amazon, cos i was buying some other stuff, but in order to get the free postage, i needed to spend £2 more!  So... bought the garlic card!  Total waste, but.. it was only £2.50

I'm eyeing up some Le Creuset pans.  Haven't quite hit the buy button yet, but very, very tempted.

I yearn for the big casserole pan.
