I just arrived last week and thought of this string as I sat on Amazon buying a fleet of miscellaneous comforts of US home that bf doesn't have: hairdryer, straightening iron, plastic hangers, cocktail shaker, dust buster and a cute foam sword and shield for bf's5 y.o. nephew's b-day.

Few in my village seem to have  heard of a dirty martini...but some are curious!

Yesterday I read an article about trendy cocktail ingredients, so immediately felt the desperate need to own lavender bitters. I would have sprung for the rose hip eau de vie as well, but it was £35.

Two learner driver apps for my ipod. One for my theory, the other for hazard perception. So much better than hunting for the discs as they only work on PCs and we have Macs. Had so much trouble explaining this to people in shops. Oh well! Sorted now!
