USA Chicken
« on: May 06, 2002, 11:41:36 PM »
In Ely, theres a small take-away restaurant (the kind where you can eat in if you want to stand up against the wall - how annoying) called USA chicken and they serve Burgers, US style fries, Chicken sandwiches, Nuggets, and a limited number of other very US items. Fast food. So we ate there thinking "Oh when I get to the UK I'll probably go there a few times just because of it's name" and the food wasn't bad. I was impressed.

Anyway. I just wanted to share.
No questions from me, no revelations - just sharing.
Cause I'm a dork.

"Oopsie Poopsie" does contain the essential oo sound, but since the dipthong is repeated, the effect is unnecessarily redundant.  Moreover, it is a bit long (four syllables), making it a hindrance for the syllabically challenged.  Nor can it be read both ways.  Better stick with kook:  one solid syllable that falls trippingly off the tongue with the requisite oo sound -- and it's a palindrome, to boot.  Kook is a word to be proud of (always worked for me, anyway).
