I will be calling her again today to try to catch her and see if she knows how much they may want for the house, although their agency is stated as a letting agent, so not sure if they do sell homes, but she may actually have the info anyway.

But surely if you can afford to buy this house, then you don't need to consider shared ownership?

We were hoping the cost of that house would be equal to the one with shared ownership..but the place it was advertised with is a letting agent only, we have no idea when this person would want to put it out as for sale, etc... this shared ownership one is an even better fit. We really cant afford a full mortgage for what houses go for around here, thats why we're considering the shared ownership. The cost of the shared ownership of the house we are looking at now we can just get a mortgage for. Hopefully that made sense.
