My kids think I'm weird because I don't like the cream filling. It's just too sickly sweet. So I scrape it off and throw it away. I wish they made oreos that were just the cookie part without the filling. :P

If you're anywhere near a Trader Joes, they make chocolate animal cookies (they come in a round tub) that taste just like the outside cookie part of an Oreo.

I wish we had Trader Joes here but there aren't any in Texas at all. :( Those cookies sound really good though. If I'm ever near a TJs I'll be sure and try them. :)

I just found out that my darling son is SELLING HIS OREOS AT LUNCH!!!!!  They come in packs of 6 and we buy them in a big box at Costco.  I guess it's become a status symbol at his school to eat oreos  so kids will offer to buy them.  The going rate is apparently £1 a pack.  He's making  a killing!  I think too, sometimes he splits the  pack.  What a little turd!!

For those who love to cook as I do - you can actually make Oreo cookies - the recipe is located on www.topsecretrecipes.com.  Go to this site and then look up Nabisco products.  I have made them in the past and they really are very close to the real thing! 8)  Enjoy!

I love Oreo cookies myself the double stuffed Oreo's are heavenly. my dh says that Oreo cookies are ok he isnt fussed either way. my mil came over to house a while back for a vist. she was shocked when she saw me splitting my cookies apart eating the cream filling & then dunking my cookies in my glass of milk. since then she has come accustomed to my American ways, she also says it is never boring when im around.
